About Me

My name is Aleks Ksiazkiewicz. I’m a political science graduate student at Rice University and an Editorial Assistant at the American Journal of Political Science. Before coming to Rice, I completed a BA in my hometown of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at the University of Alberta (2007) and an MA at the University of Chicago (2008).

Most of my time is spent working on my dissertation, which has to do with, you guessed it, how genes affect politics. When I’m not working, I enjoy watching science fiction, playing European-style board games like Carcassonne, and going to musicals and operas.

If you’re interested in how your genes affect your politics (and why else would you be here?), you should also check out my Twitter feed.
